What: A joint Air and Army Idaho National Guard Safety, Health, and Environmental Day with attendees being all Guard people at Gowen Field and nearby facilities. The intent is to increase the awareness of these areas, provide information and ideas that will help keep them and their families more safe and healthy at work and home. We have included a major emphasis on motorcycle/ATV safety.

Date of event: Wednesday, June 9, 2010

Time: 09:00 - 15:30 Set-up at 08:00.

Place: Parade Field behind PX, Gowen Field (west of flag poles)

Format: Booths and displays that people can visit as they wander around the event

Expected Air and Army Guard attendees: Historically, at least 750 people.

The ING Family Support group will be selling hamburgers and hotdogs from 11-1.

We will have tables, over-head shade, and a small generator.

If you are interested in helping out for this event, please let me know no later than May 4, 2010 so I can provide the information to the ING. I will need your full name (including middle initial), date of birth, and state issuing your driver’s license; we will need this to enter Gowen Field.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will move inside a hangar. Truck/trailer parking available. This is also a prime event to recruit new members for your club!
